Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an educational framework based on research in the learning sciences. It guides the development of flexible learning environments and learning spaces that can accommodate individual learning differences.

Implementing UDL in Indian classrooms does not always require expensive technology. Simple adaptations, such as providing visual schedules, peer-buddy systems, multi-sensory math manipulatives, and flexible seating arrangements, create an empowering environment.
